What you should know
The gap between a shared desert safari and a private one is the difference between a queue for a camel photograph and an evening you remember. The price gap is smaller than most people assume, particularly for groups of four or more, where private is often cheaper per head.
Timing decides quality more than budget does. Desert experiences between October and April are comfortable; in July they are not. Rooftop tables need booking weeks out in season and can be walked into midweek in summer. We plan around that rather than selling you the same package year-round.

October through April, when evening temperatures are comfortable. Summer desert trips are possible but best kept short and late in the day.
Per person, often not — group tours charge per head, private tours charge per vehicle or per guide. From about four people the gap narrows sharply, and the experience is considerably better.
